In November, members of our headquarters team attended the At Ease USA Benefit Luncheon at the CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska. At Ease USA is dedicated to providing confidential trauma care for active-duty military, veterans, frontline healthcare workers, and their families—regardless of financial circumstances. Their mission focuses on supporting individuals facing PTSD, moral injury, and suicidal ideation.
The need is urgent. PTSD can profoundly affect daily life, relationships, and employment. According to At Ease USA, Nebraska veterans experience a suicide rate twice that of the general population. Since 2022, the organization has seen a staggering 631% increase in clients, nearly half of whom earn less than $29,000 annually. Many are forced to choose between basic necessities and the therapy they desperately need.
This year, the At Ease USA Benefit Luncheon will be held on November 4th at CHI Health Center. If you are interested in attending, please visit their events page for more information on how to register.
You can help make a difference. To support At Ease USA’s mission, please visit their website and consider making a donation or partnering with the organization. Every contribution helps ensure that those who serve and protect our communities receive the care they deserve.
If you or someone you know needs help, confidential support is available. Visit www.ateaseusa.org or call (531) 247-4040 to access trauma treatment services. Counselors are available Monday-Friday 9:00-5:00. If you need immediate help, please contact the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 988.273.TALK (8255).
Together, we can provide hope and healing for those who have sacrificed so much.
