On D-Day’s 80th Anniversary (6 Jun 2024), and after years “in the making”, the State of Nebraska finally dedicated their official memorial in Papillion, Nebraska. It was the last state memorial to be so consecrated following the previous 49 states and Puerto Rico; however, it is the largest state memorial. It features an honor wall which is dedicated to the 396 Nebraskans who lost their lives during the Vietnam War. The site is truly memorable, fitting of recognizing all who served in that conflict.
